Ovenpå snestormen melder der sig en diskussion om, hvorvidt politiet kunne have gjort mere, om kommunerne eller beredskabet har ansvaret eller måske vejdirektoratet?!
Der er ingen tvivl om, at det er helt uacceptabelt at bilister bliver efterladt i 19 timer.
Jeg ved, at mange har den holdning at folk bare kunne være blevet hjemme. Men det ændrer ikke på, at uanset om man skulle være klogere end at køre ud eller ens arbejdsgiver forventer at man møder på job – så er der noget helt galt: ingen skal overlades til at overnatte på en motorvej!
Jeg må også stille det spørgsmål om hvorfor politiet ikke noget tidligere meldte ud at al unødig kørsel frarådes?
Folk er så pligtopfyldende, at de kører på arbejde selv om det er meldt snestorm.
Hvis politiet havde meldt ud allerede tirsdag eller ihvertfald i løbet af onsdag – ville der ikke være så mange stakler som sidder i diverse grøfter.
Man kan så indvende, at politiet kom med en udmelding om ikke at køre ud. Men advarslen kom på Twitter, som kun 1 pct. af befolkningen anvender.
Og på Facebook kan Østjyllands politi finde ud af at skrive godt nytår 31. december 2023 og derefter torsdag formiddag skriver de så om mad og drikke til de strandede på E45?!
Og Vejdirektoratets hjemmeside forekommer mig heller ikke særlig brugervenlig.
Lad os vende os mod gode råd fra Norge. Som jeg forstår det, vil det aldrig her forekomme at folk sidder på motorvejen eller i grøften i mere end 4 timer.
